Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota (GESMN) has been creating career possibilities together with the people we serve, employer partners, donors and customers for over a century.

Together is an important word in delivering our mission to eliminate barriers to work and independence in the community.

  • Together, we help connect automotive training students with career opportunities. Larry from Honest-1 Auto Care in New Hope received GESMN’s Employer Excellence Award for his partnership and has hired several graduates. Read about automotive graduate Jordan’s new career.
  • Together, we’re advancing equitable workplaces for people with disabilities. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM); GESMN’s Work Incentives Connection that helps people receiving disability benefits understand their impact on work celebrates 25 years of service this year.
  • Together, we’re helping youth create brighter futures. Dagme moved to Minnesota looking for a fresh start to support his newborn daughter. In this video, Dagme shares how our YouthBuild training helped him earn his high school diploma. YouthBuild training starts in early November; refer someone today.

Our work together continues this fall, as we offer nonpartisan voter resources to ensure everyone has a voice on November 7. On November 17, GESMN will receive a mspWellness champion award as part of our efforts to create an inclusive, mission-driven culture for our employees.

“I am Goodwill” profiles shine a light on employees who embody our mission.

Naomi joined GESMN in 2017 as a grant writer, was promoted to corporate and foundation relations manager in 2021 and director of development in 2023. “I truly feel at home at Goodwill-Easter Seals and honored to work for an organization with such a strong allegiance to mission.”

Creating career possibilities together with our partners, and our employees, is at the heart of what we do. How can we partner with you? Learn more at our new website www.gesmn.org.
